Hunting Deer in the Maple Hurst Camp
Deer hunting like “Bear Hunting” should not surprise any of you. You can already tell by looking at the photographs of “Maple Hurst Camp” that times appeared hard. There wasn’t a local grocery store, you couldn’t jump into your car and drive to the meat market. The men posing in these photographs seem to be very proud.
As for the photograph in the middle, I’m sure there is a story with that one. The time frame appears to be the same as the previous post except for the group photograph with 1911 across the top.
